At Toast Inc, one of the fastest growing tech companies in the US, growth is exponential, adding close to 100 new team members per month in 2019. Additionally, more than 75% of Toasts’ new employees are millennials, joining Toast as a first or second job, and being promoted early in their careers to first time people managers. Integrating new team members, developing, engaging and retaining rock stars, while also aligning the team, is critical to driving business results. As a first time manager this is an enormous challenge, and impossible to do successfully without a plan and methodology for guidance, and tools and resources for support.
