Where do I check in?
OPTIMA is at the Sheraton Boston Hotel (39 Dalton St., Boston, MA), and the registration desk is on the 2nd floor—can’t miss it! 

I can’t find my registration anywhere, what should I do?
Search “Registration Confirmation to OPTIMA22” in your inbox for the confirmation email sent when you got your ticket. 
 
If you can’t find it and you’re not positive that you are registered for OPTIMA22, reach out to help@optimaconference.com to confirm. 
 

Do I need to show my registration confirmation to check in?
Nope! Just need to share your name to get your badge. 

Will there be breakfast, lunch and dinner served?
April 12:
Partner Day attendees will have access to a light breakfast from 8:00-9:00 a.m. and lunch will be served 12:00-1:00 p.m. at the Sheraton. Partner Awards dinner is at Earl’s Prudential, just down the hall from the Sheraton.

Talent Optimization Certification Half-Day attendees will have access to snacks prior to the session beginning at 1:00 p.m. We suggest eating some lunch beforehand!

April 13:
A light breakfast will be available from 8:00-9:00 a.m. and lunch will be served 12:20-1:40 p.m; some light snacks and beverages will be available in the Talent Optimization Hub from 5:15-7:00 p.m. at the Sheraton. Dinner will be served at the OPTIMA22 Party at Big Night Live (shuttles provided).

April 14:
A light breakfast will be available from 8:00-9:00 a.m. and lunch will be served 11:55 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

What time zone will the event be in? 

The event will run on EST (Boston, New York City, Miami, Havana, Lima, Bogotá).

What is the dress code?

While we do not have a dress code, attendees may ask what the typical dress wear is. You can tell them business casual, be comfortable and suggest bringing layers as the rooms vary in size and the weather varies in Boston that time of year. Examples from last year: slacks, blazers, button ups, casual business dresses/skirts, jeans with a blouse/button up. 

What is the official hashtag for the event?

The official hashtag is #OPTIMA22, but we also recommend using #talentoptimization #OPTIMAconference too.

Do you have an anti-harassment policy?

Our conferences (online or in-person) are safe places for everyone to gather, and inappropriate behavior is unacceptable at any OPTIMA event.

What health and safety measures are you introducing at OPTIMA22?

OPTIMA22 will ensure that all appropriate measures, as set by the CDC and City of Boston in April 2022, are adhered to. You can find our Covid-19 policy here, which will be updated regularly.

How do I get a media pass?

Applications for our media passes will be managed through our website and will be open throughout the event. You can apply here.

Ticket and profile

Where can I find my OPTIMA22 ticket?

Once you register with your dedicated media code you’ll receive a confirmation email. When OPTIMA22 kicks off on April 12, you’ll be able to check into the event where you’ll receive your badge and welcome bag. Your badge will be your access to the event.

What does my OPTIMA22 ticket entitle me to?

As a media attendee, you will be provided with free access to the event. You can attend press conferences, and book interviews with speakers, partners, startups and investors.

Can my non-media colleague get a media ticket?

Unfortunately, we can only give press passes to editorial staff.

How many attendees can join with one ticket?

Each attendee must have a unique ticket to attend OPTIMA22. Your ticket allows single access to the conference.

Can I transfer my ticket to another person during the conference?

No, each ticket is valid to be used by one person only for the duration of the conference.

Do you sell one-day full attendee tickets?

We don’t offer one-day full attendee tickets. All full attendee tickets are valid for the duration of the conference.

Can I sell my OPTIMA22 tickets?

As specified in our terms and conditions, you cannot sell your OPTIMA22 ticket. Tickets found to have been resold will be voided, and the owner will be denied entry.

Where can I find my OPTIMA22 ticket?

To access the event, you will need to download our OPTIMA22 app. You do not need a printed ticket. Your tickets will be available to scan you into the event from the app via a QR code. Just bring your government-approved photo ID along with you, and you will be good to go during registration.

I have a disability and I need my carer to assist me at OPTIMA22. Do I need to buy a ticket for my carer?

We would be happy to accommodate your needs. Please email us at help@optimaconference.com so we can coordinate this for you.

What is the main airport in Boston?

The primary airport in Boston is Boston Logan International Airport

What are the rules for traveling to The United States of America?

The latest rules for traveling to The United States can be confirmed here. These are the current traveling rules at the time of writing, and are subject to change. 

We are strictly adhering to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC’s) guidelines as well as the State of Massachusetts as we prepare to bring everyone together again in Boston.

  • Travel Requirements have changed. Starting December 6, all air passengers, regardless of vaccination status, must show a negative COVID-19 test taken no more than 1 day before travel to the United States.
  • Some exceptions may apply if you are traveling to the US from another country. Additionally, some travelers from other countries are prohibited to enter the US regardless of vaccination status—please review these rules to confirm your country’s eligibility.

Are you able to provide a letter confirming my attendance at OPTIMA22 for the purposes of essential travel and/or obtaining a visa?

You can request a letter confirming your attendance at OPTIMA by contacting your media success manager.

Refunds and Cancellations

Refunds re: Covid-19 travel restrictions

We will issue a 100% refund to any registrant experiencing travel restrictions/bans. Registrant must provide proof of aforementioned restrictions.  

Refunds re: a better promo code 

As of November 17, 2021, promotional codes to attend OPTIMA22 are time bound and cannot be retroactively applied to your OPTIMA22 registration. Promotional periods are subject to varying discounts.

Cancellations

Please reach out to help@optimaconference.com to request a cancellation. Inquire to cancel by January 1, 2022 and get a 100% refund; by March 11, 2022 and get a 50% refund; no refunds will be issued starting March 12, 2022.
